It's being reported in Argentina that a tentative date of August 28 has set for the return of Marcos El Chino Maidana (28-1, 27KOs). He will defend his WBA interim title in Luna Park against an opponent to be determined. Maidana is hungry to get in the ring after five months of inactivity, due to differences with his former manager.:deal
I hope the issues surrounding him and his manager have been fully resolved. The 140 division is holding some brilliant young names, and is begging for great matchups to take place in the next couple of years. I'd hate it if Maidana was unable to be in the mix of this.
