Maidana to train with Robert Garcia!

the suprising thing about this is that maidana is the first golden boy fighter to work with robert garcia. garcia has been critical of oscar and golden boy as he belives they stole victor from him and he goes on to say they do it to a lot of fighters. add to that bob wants every come forward top rank fighter to work with garcia, the likes of margarito and pavlik have done so and its not secret bob wants chavez jr to leave freddy and go to robert too.

 

Garcia would help him how? Rios is a human piñata, so was Margarito, and Pavlick, Donaire just beats up little Flyweights and got exposed by a b class Vasquez jr. Mickey Garcia maybe the best he trains, yet he hasn't been tested and has been protected.

 

Will Maidana end up with Conte also? That is the next question.

 

I don't think Rios and Maidana would have fought in the first place due to promoters... Not a bad move IMO.

garcia has fighters with different styles, for years he has trained joan guzman, brian viloria and many other boxers.

he teaches rios the style that suits him, rios can't and will never be able to shoulder roll like mayweather or have fast feet like pacquiao.
