Didn't listen. But it sounds like Maidana turned down 300k to fight non-respected McClosckey in order to make more money to face Devon Alexander... Hmm... So this is a "thank you Maidana" and celebratory thread?

 

He will be making more money on his own promoters bill against a better fighter on HBO, whats your point :huh

mccloskey is the boy khan beat as a tune up before the supposedly bradley fight which never took place.

Mccloskey then got a win over prescott the guy who KO'd khan in 54 seconds. So mccloksey is trying to build back up and it looks like he's going for the old khan opponents to do so.

$300,000 isn't much for maidana and mccloskey is a step down for him. He needs to be moving forward. Maidana vs rios/guerreo/peterson/winner of berto vs ortiz. His division is hot as hell he needs to make the most of it while its there the **** don't last forever.

 

couldnt have put it better myself! maidana can/will be a big attraction in a weight division thats on fire, some great match-ups in there!
