bradley is becoming some great myth, the dude has NEVER beaten a WW for crying out loud. chino would tko him for certain. if prov could pretty much tko that ass chino would put him in a coma

 

I know it's May 2014. But we can't disregard what happen in the past. Maidana beating tomato can Broner, will not suddenly erase his mediocre past. Bradley is more proven, and an elite fighter. Maidana is considered by many as c-level.

Man stop hyping c-level Maidana, as a damage control on what happen to Floyd against one dimensional Maidana. Floyd is not as great as you want to think.

Bradley's awkward style could be Mayweathers toughest fight imo.

Bradley beats Maidana handily as well.

Yes... UD Bradley.

But at least 1 in 3 on these forums scored it for Provodnikov (which furthers how little ESB'ers know; they mindlessly reward aggression and score fights not by actual judging criteria, but by their own opinion of what should be valued, which is just the guy who moves forward and the guy who throws more punches, more often than not).

smoak....i cant figure out.....do these guys actually think thats what a winning fighter has to do to win a fight?

do they think you should score a fight in favor of a guy who does those things.....when the fighter they want to win does those things?

or are they just dumb and only like/reward fighters who do those things?

As much as i love Maidana, he is the type of fighter that is tailor made for Pacquiao. A strong, power punching, slow, easy to hit brawler. He's in the same category as Margarito and Rios.

That said, a Bradley vs Maidana fight would be FOTY.

This fight doesn't make a lot of sense for Bradley because it would be an easy fight for Bradley. Maidana's style plays right into Bradley's hands. Bradley loves to brawl and has to focus on boxing while Floyd loves to box and tried to brawl.

Bradley is great with infighting, body shots. I do think Maidana might be able to hurt Bradley but he's got no chance of winning in any other way.

 

Maidana vs Bradley would not be FOTY. I don't even think it would be competitive. Bradley by UD in an easy win.

Pacquiao would win even easier and probably by TKO. Maidana is good don't get me wrong, but he's got a style which plays into Pacquiao and Bradley's strengths.

The only reason Mayweather had so much trouble is because Mayweather and Broner have similarities in their style and that helped Maidana to prepare for Mayweather. Bradley and Mayweather are only similar in that they are black, but their styles aren't similar.

Bradley doesn't back up onto the ropes when attacked, he tends to brawl back and punch back. He's not nearly as accurate as Mayweather but he's not as economical either and the only reason Maidana had a chance against Mayweather is because Mayweather wasn't throwing many punches.

Bradley would punch 100 punches a round along with Maidana and slaughter him. Pacquiao can throw 100 punches a round too so it would also be a slaughter. And those wide ugly punches wouldn't land on Bradley, and if they were to land on Pacquiao it would only turn into a brawl which Pacquiao would win because his chin is better.
