Maidana vs Floyd is a horrible fight

    Rewatching Maidana vs Broner and Maidana loads up way to wide, he has a pretty obvious rhythm and can be pushed back with a jab.

    I'm not saying he's a shitty fighter, I love maidana and he's one of my favorite fighters but it's a shitty match up. Floyd vs Amir would be a much better fight.

    amir would make it entertaining for like 3-4 rounds. He has a good jab and keeps it firing, that's enough to atleast make it interesting momentarily. His head movement is **** and will probably get knocked down 2 or 3 times in a 8-4ish UD loss vs floyd (not including the KDs)

    Its a shxt fight but he deserves it

    Khan would get knocked out in 6 rounds by Floyd, Maidana is better than a Guerrero fight

    maidana has **** stamina. he was pushing broner around and broner being easy to hit and not being able to take them helped maidana's case.

    floyd is so much bigger.

    fioyd will pick maidana apart mid to late rounds.

    pac fights 36 mins. nothing of floyd's potshotting offense will work as he will covering, clinching, moving the whole fight.

    I love chino. I don't have a problem wiht him getting the fight tbh. I think I'd rather see him rematching broner or fighting garcia in a more winnable fight but for $$$ sake he can go for floyd.

    Floyd isn't aggressive enough to get Khan out early. If a tko came it would be btwn 9 - 12.

    agreed for the most part. Imagine chino trying to crack floyds shell with those wide hooks.... not happening


    neither is the pacquiao fight. It would be great if pac would ask bob out of the contract for 1 fight. I'm sure bob would accept a 15-20 million 1 fight opt out as long as pac came out to finish his contract.

    Very **** fight, Floyd Guerrero territory. This isn't a knock on Chino, he's a warrior but this fight would suck.

    Khan is a better fight than Maidana. I'm not looking at WHO EARNED IT, I know Khan hasn't, but I think Maidana wouldnt be a good fight for FLoyd.

    Maidana would have been a better challenge than Canelo.

    But i still don't want to see either Khan or Maidana in the ring with Floyd. There are much better fights out there to test Floyd.

    Maidana will be get schooled but it's still a very good fight. Anyone is better than Khan.

    I wish it were Maidana in May '14. Maidana in Sept. '14 could be interesting if Maidana picks up a big win in that time span.

    Oh come on, Baldomir? That's a stretch dude, Baldomir didn't bring anything like the punching power, explosiveness and relentlessness of Maidana to the table.

    Wirh that said, i agree that Maidana would get schooled big time by Mayweather, but no less than Khan would imo and Maidana would keep bringing the heat, making Floyd fight and make it exciting similar to how Cotto (and no, i did not just try to suggest that Maidana is on the level of Miguel Cotto)

    Someone as mentally AND physically chin weak like Khan't would lose to Floyd by KO.

    Maidana is world champion at WW, and has beaten some good fighters. I'm not sure you could describe a fight between him and Mayweather as a horrible fight.
