It's going to be a fun fight. I have Maidana taking this one. I like Josesito Lopez, but I think he picked the wrong time to go after Maidana.

I like them both, but I agree with ST that the Chino takes it.

I like Josesito, ive been following him since he was a lightweight, but sadly he doesnt have much going for him against Maidana other than his heart. i see a late TKO for Chino

Think Lopez decision, he will stay on the outside and box, Lopez's chin is legit
Can see a late stoppage for Maidana though

This, I think Josesito is pretty well-rounded enough to give chino a hell of a fight.

Marcos Maidana will be victorious and will become a P4P superstar in the coming years.

I'm super excited for this fight. I'll be in row M along with some friends. My heart will definitely be with Lopez, but I think he gets drawn into a firefight and worn down late.

It should be a great fight and add to the legacy of The Home Depot Center, home to Rios/Alvarado 1 and Vasquez/Marquez 3.

Personally I think Maidana takes him out early with a blitzkrieg assualt, I like both guys but now that Maidana is with Garcia, he has improved 7 fold

No, Josesito has way too much heart. Maidana isn't anywhere near the size of Canelo and Josesito stuck it through for a while. I think Maidana will get to him the late rounds, ala Khan.

I got Lopez beating Maidana in a great fight. Lopez has better ability and will be too much for the crude Maidana who has shown better boxing ability recently.

    Really pumped for this fight.

    I think Josesito takes it.

Maidana has looked very bland and beatable since the Khan fight.

Lopez will start outboxing him early, but I think Maidana is going to get closer to the mark as the rounds progressed. Lopez already looked outsized against Ortiz, you could see it in the way he swayed from the force of the punches, it was his heart that kept him in there. I think Maidana will throw a stiff jab, show some defensive head movement, and be really rough on the inside.

I was impressed by how quickly and fluidly Maidana was able to put multi-punch combinations together.
