I'm a fan of both, but as of lately probably more so a fan of Maidana. I would probably root for Maidana, but I don't know. I like both guys. Maidana would win if they fought.

People seem to forget that he was in there with a young, hungry Cotto! Cotto didn't 'walk through' paulie's jab- and Cotto is a bigger, stronger, more durable fighter than Maidana I think- Paulie has also advanced in skill and strength (not as fast, but against maidana you dont have to be) I think if Paulie sticks and moves, he frustrates the slow and plodding maidana. Khan got rocked because he deviated from a gameplan. Look to paulie to deliver the goods in this one

I think Paulie can pull this one out the bag, if he's got something left, which i think he does, he should read every Maidana move like a book.

    WAR PAULIE

Paulie not afraid to fight anyone. Maidana will hurt him, he can't hurt Maidana, and he can't run for the whole fight. Damn.

    I pick Paulie to win.

He gets too much **** on this Forum, to of made the amount of money he has, and to of been World champion, all with no pop in his punches is brilliant, I've said it before, Paulie Mallignagi is a living tribute to Gentleman Jim Corbett. (Those of you who don't know, he was the first Boxer to use the jab, a pioneer.)

I give Paulie a lot of ****, but you kind of have to admire the guy, despite his big mouth. I mean, he's willing to get in there with anyone, despite having zero power and knowing that he's a class below a lot of these guys. Remember what Cotto did to him? Destroyed him physically, he took an almighty beating that night. But he still doesn't fear people.

You people are ****ing crazy, Paulie takes a bad beating here, probably the worse since Cotto. Mark my words.

At 147 I'd favor Paulie. Bad style for Maidana and his wide swinging punches.
