Broner was Berto 2.0 except a total a-hole. One of them dudes you see shadow boxing and think "Wow this guy might be the next Floyd". Then you see him in a fight. Nope. Spence beats Maidana.
Spence is all wrong for Maidana. Despite the tough grueling fights Maidana gave to Broner, Ortiz and Floyd...Spence is a different kind of fighter. Spence is big, durable, great skill set and very good power. I think he would beat Maidana much easier than Floyd did because of those attributes. People forget Maidana can be hurt. Morales had him hurt, as did Ortiz and Khan. I wouldn't be surprised if he stopped Maidana in 6-7 rounds or even sooner. Especially considering his vicious body shots.
Gotta take Spence, but Maidana would make it very entertaining. Errol can take a punch and can handle pressure with style as he showed in the Porter fight. I think Spence is elusive enough to keep it a boxing match and wins pretty wide.
Well Porter beat Spence and Maidana beat Mayweather so why not eh? He would probably get robbed though.
