who would win in your opinion how would it play out? I like seeing 2 brawlers with heavy hands go at it. Here are the factors to consider. (positives) at 140 these 2 are definetly the hardest hitters. Although juan urango got K.Oed by alexanders chin no1 can deny that he has the best chin at 140. maidana is a better boxer than urango and can connect more. Urango is stronger and slightly more powerful. Maidana is faster and has better footwork. (Negatives.) Maidana has been knocked down twice by ortiz who doesnt have near the power of urango. and maidanas hands arent always up. Urango truly does have one punch power no matter where he hits you. maidana can be dropped. urango is slow and is an open target and is flatfooted. and urango is not a guy with bad intentions 100 percent of the time and like my freind vinny says "he always have too much respect for his opponent" this can cause maidana to take advantage of this fight.
Madiana late stoppage id say at this pint in time because he just seems fresher at this point.I also think hes a bigger puncher than Urango
You are overrating Urango in every department, I think Maidana would punish him and stop him. Besides, I think Alexander has cracked Urango's chin.
Maidana by UD. Urango has better power and a better chin but Maidana's boxing skills are far superior to his. Maidana is just a better fighter.
His power is not as good as Maidana's, and although Maidana did get dropped by Ortiz, Ortiz is a puncher and a lot faster and more accurate than Urango. Whereas Urango was laid out by Devon Alexander in a fight he was arguably winning. Alexander is not as powerful as Maidana. Maidana punches harder, is faster, has a better chin and has beaten better competition. Maidan would KO Urango.
Maidana by TKO by virtue of having quicker hands, and better technique. It'd be a fun fight though, and Urango is heavy handed as hell. Probably moreso then Ortiz, but then again he isnt NEARLY as quick as Ortiz, so I think Maidana could survive.
ok now ur overdoing it saying maidana has a better chin than urango. it might be debatable on punching power. even though i think urango is a harder hitter. yes maidana is faster. urango on the other hand is a 2 time champion. Keep that in mind. you dont become a 2 time champ being a complete bum. urango got up pretty quick even tho the uppercut lifted him atleast 3inches of the ground. remember urangos fight with randall bailey? supposedly no1 gets up after a right hand from bailey? urango got up and gave bailey a beating around that ring. im not saying maidana cant win. but if he wins you cant say it will be cake for maidana. even though alexander TKOd urango. Alexander had a run for his money. and Urango was winning a decent amount of rounds. now im not gonna be Biased for urango because i have a decent argument for both sides. if someone says urango will beat maidana easily i will have an argument for that trust me.
Urango. I think their boxing skills are almost identicaly matched. Urango has the style to press Maidana and make him fight retreating, diminishing his power a bit.
urango is flatfooted though. i dont think the pressure of urango will be really fast enough for maidana to be retreating hard enough to diminish his power. unless urango got killer intentions. but thats rare that can be a factor that could hurt urango vs some1 like maidana. it would kinda depends. but i cant say ur wrong anything can happen. you do bring a great point
