ok right, even if you blame khan for the fight not happening. why hasnt maidan fought alexander or bradley yet? why has he fought a bunch of no names since ortiz quit in their fight? and as for saying corley is his only choice? jesus christ man. corley is probably ranked about 30th in the 140 division, and that is purely off his name. there are plenty better fighters he could have picked. hell he is running from an ortiz rematch ffs. and running from a kotelnik rematch.

after seeing the kotelnik - alexander fight i no longer regard maidana as a big 4 name. he would get beaten in a rematch, would be an underdog vs any belt holder and would probably be an underdog vs ortiz in a rematch.

i wasnt sold on him to begin with but atleast he had earned his shot. since beating ortiz he has done sweet fa and deserves no credit at all. i mean if bradley/alexander/khan had fought the level of opposition maidan has fought recently they would get slated, and rightfully so. he earned his shot fair enough, but since then we have seen nothing. and now he is fighting the mighty chop-chop. well if that is the best fight for him then it really does speak volumes.
