:happy I thought watching the fight that Morales was going to pull it out, he was landing clean accurate shots. He was just too old and above his weight class, a Prime Morales would destroy Maidana and probably stop him, he would knock him down multiple times I feel.

Who is more skilled Morales or Maidana?

I mean Maidana got outboxed by Alexander. His style is perfect for boxers with skill and footwork. Styles make fights BUT anything can happen in a boxing match. Morales even though old and washed up still retained enough skills to last the fight and win some rounds. You are acting like Maidana isn't what he is….lol

Its not a sham, its 2 champions fighting each other. Maidana earned his shot, just because he doesnt present the style that you feel is going to be the magical style to defeat mayweather doesnt mean this fight doesnt have value or merit.

Maidana has a very good resume and has fought a lot of good fighters and is a world champion on a 4 fight win streak, this is a good fight. We all know Mayweather is going to win, we just all want to see "HOW" he is going to win. Thats what makes his fights exciting because every fighter is different although they may share similar stances or have the same style. Its not really about a fighter cracking Mayweathers code, its about how Mayweather is going to continuously and consistently adapt and dominant fighters from beginning to end in a way they have never been defeated before.

How do you call yourself a "BOXING" fan but you hate the best representation of the SWEET SCIENCE in our era?? This makes no sense, Floyd is a master technician and one of the most skilled fighters at "boxing", but you call yourself a "boxing" fan?:huh Floyd is one of the most focused and toughest fighters you will ever see….NOBODY is champion for 15 years in 5 weight classes and 45-0 without being a tough SOB. Don't let Floyd promotional antics and immature behavior in front of the cameras fool you, anyone in any gym in America or any fighter that Mayweather has ever fought will tell you that Mayweather is a BEAST and nothing to play with in the ring.

The fact that Scaeffer or some other turd is already talking about how this might be Floyd's toughest fight. Well at least Maidana won't fight like Canelo . However he will most likely get schooled in a boring UD, unlike Floyd's other fights...

Maidana is over rated... Boxing is dying and we have mediocre boxers that looks great cause boxing lacks great boxers nowaday.

Its not boxing, Boxing is fine, its just the way the sport is marketed is different now. Boxing is the same as it has always been, the perception of it has changed and it has become bigger each decade. Guys like De La Hoya, Mayweather and Pacquiao in the age of the internet has reached more people and exposed themselves to more people across the globe than any old school fighters except Ali. Just look at PPV #s look at Oscars PPV's in his prime, they were very good for his weight class, he wasn't getting a million buys really, the fact that Mayweather and Pacquiao are getting million dollar PPV buys when only HW's ever did those kinds of #'s is staggering and it shows how boxing is not a dying sport and has cultivated new fans all over the world.

Numerous fighters can turn out to be great, we never know. Nobody ever thought Pacquiao would become great. It can happen in the sport of boxing. Stop complaining and enjoy the fights. Why do guys complain then still post hundreds of post in hundreds of threads and then watch the fight then come back to the forum and post hundreds of post in hundreds of threads complaining about how this fight sucks or that guys sucks. Stop watching and stop clogging up forum space. Either be a fan and deal with the highs and the lows or stop being a fan of the sport. Boxing now is how it was in the old days…nothing has changed
