Maidana lost to Kotelnik. Khan beat Kotelnik for the title. Khan is the champ and just made his mandatory defense, throw the **** at him if Maidana is still the mandatory at the end of the year and Khan still goes another direction.

Maidana fought Kotelnik for the WBA LWW title and lost.

Khan fought Kotlenik for the WBA LWW title and won.

Malingaggi has done more and could be considered the better fighter then Maidana. If it wasnt for his power no one would say Khan is "ducking" him. And mandatories have shown to be great for the sport. I mean what would boxing be today if fights like Lockett vs Pavlik.

If Maidana wants the fight he could have it. Clearly he dont want it that bad.

Super champions are ridiculous enough but when they haven't even got to beat another champion (Alexander or Khan) than it is even more ridiculous!

I just don't like "World Champion" boxers avoiding and ducking out of fights for more lucrative, fame-seeking and low-risk opponents. Hardly makes me a ******, my views are for the integrity of the sport. If you're WBA champ then you should fight who the WBA believe is next in line... if you don't like it then ****ing vacate.

The integrity of the sport. What the **** do you know about the integrity of the sport when you support the WBA who has more then 1 champion in some divisions. There are THREE ****ing 3 WBA champions at 126.

If the WBA was gave a **** about the integrity of the sport then they would only have one champion in there division.

Oh and Salita was the WBA mandatory. He was who the WBA said was next in line. Yeah that fight was great for boxing.

Good Lord man take it easy.

And yes, the Salita win was good for Khan as it gave him his second best win so far - taking out an undefeated mandatory in a round. All helps to establish himself as number 1 by the WBA.

I didnt say good for Khan I said good for the sport. And no it wasnt his second best win. Shot Barrera, Limond, St. Claire and Earl are all better wins. I followed Salita's career almost since he turned pro and he's TERRIBLE!!!!! He fought no one and even should have lost 2 of those fights against nobodies and he never fought even a top 25 fighter. And this guy gets a title shot??

At least you got one thing right "number 1 by the WBA". THE ONE AND ONLY CHAMPION!!!!

Maidana lost to Kotelnik for the WBA title.

Khan beat Kotelnik for the WBA title.

Maidana acquired an interim title when he beat Ortiz, he can thank GBP for that. There shouldn't have been any interim title because the real champion was active.

Presumably you also think that Bradley is 'ducking' the WBO number one ranked Malignaggi then and that he should also vacate?

And goodness knows what you think of Shane Mosley's continued ducking of Vyacheslav Senchenko in order to fight Floyd Mayweather...

Khan's the real champion - he beat Kotelnik for the title. Maidana lost to Kotelnik. This isn't rocket science.
