Not the slightest big exciting it will look like a sparring session, if you want to know how this fight will go watch Mayweather vs Baldomir this will be very similar and that was a one sided borefest. Maidana has no chance he is slow flat footed easy to hit tailor made for Floyd in other words.

i would describe it as someone who does not have trouble making the weight and is still in good shape in the ring. not someone that eats like a pig or starves themselves to make weight.

I love Maidana, but he doesn't have the coordination and fast twitch muscle fiber development. I watched him do plyometrics in preparation for his last fight and his athleticism is pretty limited. That doesn't bode well in a fight with Floyd.

unfortunately there is nothing he can do to make it interesting. as soon as he gets close to mayweather the ref will separate them. there will be no infighting as floyd will simply turn his back to break them up. in a fair fight he might have a chance, but none of floyds fights are fair as the referees ALWAYS protect him and let him get away with cheap shots and dirty tactics while his opponents are deducted points or ko'd by cheap shots.

    He's a joke.

That's what they said about the Canelo fight.

If Alvarez couldnt get close Maidana doesn't stand a chance.

Maidana got only a chance on the first 3 rounds. Swinging wildly. After that, he will become so tired and ready for the taking.

You guys are forgetting one thing.

    Robert Garcia.

Don't compare the Alexander and Khan Maidana to the Maidana trained under Garcia. Chino never even used to move or throw a jab before April 2012.

If Maidana wants to be competitive in this fight he needs to fight ugly. He needs to be overly active, throw punches from odd angles and land on anything(shoulders, chest, body) he can land on and stay in Mayweather's face all night. If he decides to pose in the middle of the ring this will be a one-sided easy sparring session for Mayweather similar to Baldomir and Guerrero.

Yes you can. Would the Khan that fought Prescott beat Maidana? Hey don't take my word for it, take the opinions of people like Paulie Malignaggi during the fight who were blown away by the effect Garcia had on Chino. You telling me pre Garcia Maidana would be cutting off the ring and throwing 100 punches per round using combinations to the body, double jabs, overhand rights and left hooks all whilst using a tighter defence?

The guys creating these fights, writing about them and the fighters themselves both past and present agree on his transformation under Garcia. Of course you can change a fighter.

Here's one for you.........Naz leaves Ingle, career over.
