I love the way Khan fan boys are spinning this fight. Instead of Khan barely escaping and the ref helping him, they spin it so that it was Khan who wanted to make a point and gain fans. pathetic. khan got the **** kicked out of him from round 4 on and ran the whole fight.

Whats winning an "event"? The fight is the event, unless you the event to you is only select rounds 10 and round 11.

I will give Khan some credit for not folding when I thought maidana was breaking him down. I thought I could see the end coming but khan did fight back and did win at least 1 later rd.

I think the issue here was Khan's early dominance. i felt he could do thta all night prefight. Then, you could feel the momentum swing. You saw one man making it a fight and another man getting the end of the sharp stick. Khan resorted to running and throwing a few combos sugar ray style. But, SRL was flashy doing it and didnt eat big shots after. khan just ended up looking more like a runner.

I did lose some hype off of Khan from this fight while i saw maidana gaining respect as a tough, inside mauler who comes to make it a fight not a sweet little boxing match. That style makes fans and garners respect IMO.

Maidana was lucky to survive the first, bad game plan from Khan, should have gone for the glass body rather than head hunt.

Khan used heaps of energy just circling and would have taken 2 steps to Maidanas 1...... Props to him,but what we saw was a guy who was at times close to ruin. He survived what some said he couldn withstand. One crack from Maidana and he was history....thats all we ver heard from some folk. Well he took his best and didnt go down....close....but no cigars:hey

Maidana was beating the **** out of Khan from round 4 on. Khan has no inside game. Truth it Khan has flasy combos but Maidana picked most of them off after round 2.

Ridculous statement. What, you thought Khan was going to stand there and trade? Are you really that stupid?

Khan clearly won. But his performance is still at least 2 levels below the p4p#1 and #2.

I agree Khan's weakness is his inside game. Maidana was not beating the **** out of Khan but try not let your personal dislike get in the way of rational decision. Khan was dominating some rounds and others Maidana got the better of him. Credit to both fighters.

I'm sorry, Maidana tried to cheap shot Khan at the start of the fight when he went to touch gloves. He's disqualified from winning the event.

Agreed. He also showed a bit of a mean streak.

I actually am a fan of Khan, but his running was getting disappointing. I say this meaning he didnt do it as a skillfull display in and out and counter punching. It was a survival mechanism, there is a big difference there.

Just point out one fact, Khan took the worse beating of the two guys in this fight. He was a bloody mess all marked up and roughed up. I thought maidana broke his nose at one point. credit to khan he won the fight on the card but he got beat up worse.

That was a beauty I was loving it!!!:nut:nut

Khan tried to touch his glove about 3x and each time maidana took a swing at him. This is boxing not the ice capades.

Maidana was beautiful tonight. he made it a fight!!!
