Oh yeah that **** Danny Garcia's dad told Khan about Maidana at the press conference was funny. "Maidana didnt even train for his fight with you! He was sparring with little kids in Puerto Rico!" Lol good stuff

Very interesting to see how Maidana will be again @ 147 against Karass.

  4. His stance is still ******ed, the man actually leans forward, holding his chin out.

Maidana will still always remain slow as f*ck and be pretty predictable

He just needs to improve on keeping his conditioing good for fights and learning how to cut down a ring and throw a combination on a fighter against the ropes

Anybody with a great chin and decent ringcraft should be able to outbox him

Trying to brawl and go toe to toe with him is where problems creep up for most people

How would Angel know at lol? more bull****.

    Maidana looked in great shape.

Much better shape than he was against Alexander, Morales and Ortiz...

Maidana looks fat @ 147 lol.

Needs to stay at 140 where his power is felt.... should face Mattysse.. would have a good chance of getting a Khan rematch at this stage as well...

Imagine that ey? Khan can't find an opponent and offers Maidana rematch December 2012 - Maidana decides to push his training so he can make 140

    WAR.

Well, if he conditions right, he can be a force at 147. Overhauling Maidana's style is not an option, but he does have a few tricks he can flesh out to become less predictable. He didn't get to where he is on power alone, he's finding ways to hit guys square on the chin at least once during a fight. Not an easy thing to do against anybody.

Maidana's problem is after a few rounds he becomes an arm puncher. Garcia can only help him though so it is a positive thing. :good

maidana is pretty much what he is...i can't see him changing too much at this point. i like that garcia has him throwing faster and in combination...but once the fight starts..all of that will go right out the window and he'll go back to doing what he always does.

Good stuff. Hopefully Maidana can add a little something to his game. I'd love to see him take on Bailey if he can beat Alexander next month.

I'd like to see Garcia work on Maidana's head movement more. Let's be honest, Marcos will never be the fastest, or have the best footwork, or the slickest defense. But one thing that can improve his defense that he is certainly capable of adding is head movement.

Very cool. Maidana vs the top 140 lb'ers would always be a good fight.

Maidana is still a big threat despite his last performance. I don't think he was prepared for all of the clinching on Alexander's part.
