Perhaps OP could specify which wins by Ortiz and Cayo propelled each of them to being 'legit top ten'? :huh

lol at idiots saying kotelink-maidana result matters at all.

styles make fights, and mark maidana would shatter khans chin the first time he lands.

The Kotelnik/Maidana result clearly matters when some troll is trying to simaltanously represent Maidana as a monster and discredit Khan's win over Kotelnik.

Maybe you didn't read the thread before posting, hence why you didn't work that out?

allot of ppl thought maidana beat kotelnik, khan did a good job against kotelnik but if i'm honest if he did look sloppy at times, i dont hate khan i think he can do well against good fighters if hes matched well but in this case i see him getting bombed out of there Maidana 1 of the biggest punchers in boxing if he wasnt all that roach wouldnt be so reluctant to put his boy in with maidana

Average attempt to deflect the question. Though I didn't mention Salita, nor is he relevant. Are you going to try to answer? Tell me when Ortiz and Cayo respectively cracked the top ten. Who did they beat that propelled them there?

There you go then. Maybe read the whole thing next time and you won't look so silly when calling people 'idiots' before you've even understood the point they're making.

anthony peterson didnt beat a top 10 guy but it was pritty obvious that he was given his talents likewise both cayo and ortiz were pritty gifted fighters dispite never having fought the needed competition there talents spoke for itself we dont need to argue about this

He hand't discredited Khans win over Kotelink... yet.

But the first reply from "Puglist" was a typical dumb response you get on here regarding Khan.

    Oh. My. Word.

    Maidana beats Bradley:rofl:rofl

A Khan/Maidana fight only ends one way. Wide, wide UD for Khan.

I'm not going to put too much weight on Maidana's win over Ortiz, since Khan stopped him a few years ago in the am's, with headgear.

He cannot run forever and there is no escaping he DID beat the man who Maidana lost his one fight to,but I do not think GBP will risk his chin against a known puncher / K O fighter.

Khan's only hope would be to win on points as he did against Kotelnik, though Maidna's chin is a disaster waiting to happen & there for the invatation to put dust on the back of his trunks,as Ortiz showed, but such is the intimidating style of the Argentinian I believe he would have no problem rocking Khan's chin ,and for once and for all put the doubts to bed over it being made of glass....Maidana inside 6 IMHO

As many point out though....it's not going to happen in the near future, though at this level he will not be able to run from the likes of Bradly & Alexander after this one.
