What are you talking about? :huh

What exactly has he done wrong? He's 22 years old and he just won a world title, made a mandatory defence and is now fighting an established fighter in America that just came off a good win.

I agree Maidana does retain his power for most of the 12 rounds, Khan would be wise to try and push from the go and finish it ASAP with fast smart boxing and get off his own fast power shots.

He dont want to risk a late upset with him feeling the pace in the later rounds and Maidana closing the range.

In that interview he is talking about fighting calmer? and smarter under roach....Khan is a natural offensive seek-out and destroy fighter....He has shown defensive improvements under roach...

What's going to happen is once Khan gets hit by a bomb from maidana, he will revert back to his old ways, and will go night-night....Even if he doesnt get knocked out...I think any sign of trouble, he will run for dear life or panic like wlad does at times...

Roach is manufactoring Khan just to protect the chin, and even that won't save him once he is in trouble with someone...He will go back to the ole' amir...come forward sit-on punches with the chin on a dish...or he will go into a panic attack....Best of luck to him....but seeing the Maidana's....Bradley's....Urango's....and Alexander's of the world....makes now think he is better off with warren for at least another year maybe even 2....They are rushing him imo...the more I think about it....

This is the test moving from Warren and trying to win over or become the top 140 fighter at 23 in the U.S as his 1st main goal will be the hardest.

Khan has the skill set and the right team behind him, the stage is set bar Maidana and Urango who all top 140 could get KO not just Khan, he has a good chance of beating.

I feel the main question is can Khan take a decent shot from a decent fighter, not power hitters like Maidana, but the likes of Bradley and Alexander?

There are questions which still hover around Khan and until we dont find answers to we just dont know how far he can go. My bet is Roach's team have rebalanced is body weight and the moving up in weight might help his poor chin which was at 135.

Khan at 140 in his last fight just looked fit and strong, and with improved mind set and boxing gameplans and defence that could make the difference.

This is a fight I'd love to see. I'd also be interested in seeing Maidana fight Mitchell or Katsidis if they moved up. Khan definitely needs to take this fight tho, I'd be disappointed if he vacated to avoid it.

GTFO. Most people that have a grudge against Khan have it due to his hype without having faced a top name and also cos he comes out with some shite. If he beats Paulie his stock will rise. I have nothing against Pakistanis, I work with a Pakistani Muslim and you couldn't meet a nicer guy. You need to stop generalising pal.

all maidana has to do is land and he'll win to the head or to the body khan goes down to the first meaningful punch thats my prediction I hope i'm wrong because i'd like to see khan back up all the claims that were made of him since he turned pro, i'm sure ppl including myself would take him more seriously if he fights and beats maidana in stunning fashion then guys like carl froch would come out and give him the much needed props he rightfully deserves because maidana is no joke

We'll see when it happens, but I have a funny feeling you will call Maidana a bum if Khan does beat him.

No i wont, i think maidana despite being 1 dimensional is 1 of the best in the devision hes a wrecking machine, (given khans genetic shortcomings in the punch resistence department) if he gets past maidana he earns my respect!!!

    Styles make fights.

I'd still say Kotelnik is between 5-10 on the 140lber list. Solid, tough, although unspectacular.

Maidana would be a harder matchup for Khan than Kotelnik was.
