Was anyone else still impressed with Maidana's combinations that he would put together on Broner? He would consistently land 2-5 punch combos to the head and body almost at will. Paulie did the same to Broner as well but obviously not as devastating. That really says a lot about Broner's so-called 'defense'. :yep

Someone should post some gifs of the combos Maidana lands on Broner. it's a thing of beauty.

I was impressed with the body punches

He'd go for the head then the second punch would be a hard one to the body

He did that on the second knockdown it was working all night

I still can't get over that 2nd KD. Left hook to the head, right to the body, and another left to the head that sends Broner down.

Maidana, I think, showed some versatility in that fight. Probably his best performance Ive seen from him. He OUTBOXED Broner for God's sakes.

Maidana is learning more about the sport, he seems to be aware of how the counter punchers are timing and reading his every move, and he has done a lot to make this harder for them.

He was throwing from all angles, without a predictable pattern and he was feinting and jabbing to set up combos. Good stuff, I think people are focusing to much on Broners failure and not enough on Chinos good work.

He fought a great fight, he was following up on every punch he missed with two or three more and ended up landing both upstairs and downstairs, Broner didn't expect that and he had no answer for it.
