More anti-Khan excuses, please give the guy some credit.

He gets so little credit here it is untrue.

I felt like his punches in the 11th and 12th had nothing on them. I also felt that in the 10th he was too gassed to put together real combinations rather than loading up and going for a one-hitter-quitter. I believe that if Maidana had enough in the tank to throw a few more combos instead of lunging single punches, he would have knocked Khan out in the 10th.

I think he could have been in even better shape. But that wicked body shot took so much out of him that it is hard to tell. His legs were gone when he was going back to the corner.

Midana getting up from that shot was a miracle. Him going 12 and finishing stronger after taking that to the body is a clear indicator he was thoroughly conditioned. Don't be fooled b/c he gassed out himself....had Khan NOT invest to the body like he did early the fight would have had a different outcome.

If he had terrible fitness he would not have gotten up from the body shot and carried on as strongly as he did. And as far as him being tired in a particular round. **** man it is a fight......you are going to get tired.

IMO if Maidana didnt catch Khan with that bomb in the 10th he could have been stopped before the end.

It was noticeable he was sagging, Khan had dominated 8 & 9 after Maidana had a decent 6 & 7 (after Khan's early dominance) and Maidana didn't look like he fancied it anymore coming out for the 10th, he seemed dis-heartened.

Round 10 started as more of the same from 8 & 9 and had Khan not got careless and over confident there was a big chance he'd have broken Maidana soon after, either late in the 10th or the 11th.

Maidana got up from a devastating body shot to go on for twelve rounds despite the fact that he was consistently being outlanded. The lousy bum needs to start taking training seriously.

Get the **** out of here.

Even he and his Conditioner said that he was in the best shape of his life after the fight for this fight.

If his conditioning was crap he would have been knocked out or stopped. He was the one hurting Khan badly late not the other way around and that easily proves that his conditioning was fine.

  11. He's also a crude puncher. Very little accuracy.

In all fairness to Maidana the body work Khan did on him had something to do with it.

I dont think so, yeah he got tired but that doesnt mean he was out of shape, he also got hit ALOT. He was using up a lot of energy of course he was tired they both were

  15. He and Pac (though not as much) adjust their trunks waaaay too much in the middle of action. Something must be done!
