    That's a fair excuse but even before his 2½ year disappearance he was sorely overdue for a real step up in class.

    Carmack and Findley should retire.

    Sirenko and Sando both need to face stiffer competition ASAP. Neither is a spring chicken.

    I vividly remember Findley man-handling the comically larger Fonfara down at middleweight forever ago. One of those guys that makes me wonder, how different would their careers be if they weren't fighting on short notice all the time, in everyone else's backyard for peanuts, so on and so forth.
