Sando finding out he was a big fish in a small pond and "CountryBox level" isn't as high as he thought.

This performance from Alexander is the sort of thing I was hoping to see versus Sando from Derrick Findley last October. Alas.

 

Some obnoxious drunk woman at ringside keeps screaming "f*** him up, Sando!" in a gravely voice so loudly the commentators are barely audible over her.

Sando flicking a lot of jabs but Alexander batting them down with his arms like windshield wipers, working the body with straight stabs of either hand.

 

Alexander is doing a bit of a Dempsey/Golovkin shift coming in at times, approaching in the southpaw position before trapping Sando against the ropes and slugging downstairs.

 

Sando has "woken up" and increased his movement and output in the last couple of rounds, but there are still concerning signs if you're in his corner. Lots of wincing & jumping in to hold whenever he gets tagged in even grazing fashion.

 

Play by play commentator has it 67-66 to Alexander, giving him 1-4 and Sando 5-7.
