Its a quality card guys. Eduard Gutknecht vs Danny McIntosh ( EBU light heavyweight title ) Karo Murat vs Otis Griffin ( IBF light heavyweight inter continental title ) . Gutknecht lost a close fight to Stieglitz for the WBO SMW title a while back and Murat is coming off his Ist loss to Nathan Cleverly in what was a brilliant fight for the interim WBO light heavy title.
If they do show the main undercard bouts it will be well worth getting it, as Sauerland rarely disappoint as badlefthook84 pointed out. Both fights are interesting especially Gutknecht vs McIntosh. Murat should dominate Griffin relatively easy.
Called the Alexandria. The bloke said if he gets another 100 phone calls he'd consider it, but other than it's too early and not worth it unfortunately. Said he'd love to watch it himself, but will have to at home. They're playing Pac - Mosley for those interested. Football was cancelled for the weekend so I'll be doing what I can to check them both now.

I appreciate both events are seperate events handled by different promoters, however, as Main event would no doubt purchase these events at a single lump sum cost it would be much appreciated if both could be televised at a discount rate. At the current pricing $29.95 and $39.95 TOTAL $69.90, I believe most boxing fans would view this as extreme (especially those of us who have brought the Briggs v Green fiasco). If Main event did promote as a special price then the subscriptions would be much higher then what will probably take place. Might I also suggest that most hardcore boxing fans will either download illegal streams of these fights (espically Geale as it's very earlier in the morning) or go to a pub (Pacquiao fight). If this is the case main event will miss out on those subscriptions. If packaged together at a cost of say $49.95 I believe Mainevent would benefit and.so would the consumer Thank you in advance Concerned beaver
question is, do they give a damn? probably not. i just think they couldn't be bothered advertising like that. its just easier to have a separate fee for both.
Anyone had any luck on where to watch in Sydney? No fox at home. There's other means but I'm happy to venture out if somewhere is showing it
Can anyone tell me why Showtime and HBO have seperate international coverage and why I don't get to listen to Bernstein, Lampley and co?
All our overseas broadcasts are basically with the international coverage...as for whatever reason we are not allowed the rights to the HBO feed. Wouldnt it be so much more better a viewing experience. The Top Rank cards are generally not bad its more the Dave Bontempo/non Top Rank ones that annoy me.
Yeah it's not like it's terrible or anything but basically we get the B team. Also the interview at the end of the fight that we miss, pretty annoying.
Have to agree to disagree regarding the international broadcasts Bentchassis, they are a ****ing disgrace! The lighting is shithouse, the production quality is woeful, the camerawork looks like it was done by an epileptic mid-fit and the commentary, particularly that of usual suspect Dave Bontempo, is a cure for insomnia. International broadcasts suck ****!I cannot believe time and time again I pay for this ****! Shows what a fool I am! Top Rank coverage is passable and there was once a time when we would get the Showtime coverage of Vic's fights but the last two have kicked off with a silent, 15 minute shot of an empty ring before abruptly cutting to the ringwalks with the Showtime commentators. For that we are charged $30! Awesome!
Actually I prob feel the same, just getting used to it now I suppose. The colonel was ok in his time but I agree with Bontempo who managed to single handedly ruin every fight i watch and ****ing Mario Lopez over Al Bernstein ffs!
