For an opponent like Bika, those are actually good numbers.

Giving Wade away is the right thing to do. The man lost to Sam Soliman ffs.
At least Wade will get some attention after a fight with Golovkin, and Al can cash in on that.
Khan on the other hand is a strange choice. Maybe Al doesn´t have that much control over him?

Adonis has not contract/obligation to fight on Showtime.

The new Vice President of HBO Sports Peter Nelson is open to have any fighter on his network.

The previous president had an issue with Al Haymon fighters.

The only reason this fight Is not happening this June is Adonis. He can fight on HBO or HBO PPV if he really wants it.

His recent defenses give you some ideas as to what he wants his boxing career to be remembered. If the fight really couldn't be made for political reasons, then a fighter concerned about respect, legacy and history would go after other challenges that people want to see whether that means they're dangerous fights or challenging fights. He would be looking for the next best fight. He hasn't done that if you look at his recent opponents.

I agree but Calzaghe was a far more established name..
