Manny has trouble with counterpunchers: Roach
In an interview with the New York Times, Roach said this may cause Pacquiao to have a difficult time if and when he finally fights unbeaten American boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr.

more than the fact that he has trouble with counterpunchers, floyd mayweather is a master boxer and a totally different animal, and bob arum knows that, and since it looks like he calls the shots in pac's camp regarding who pac fights, why would he put him in there with mayweather when he can take lesser risks while still pulling in tens of millions?

not to mention bob arum's been in the business a long time, and especially since he's definitely followed mayweather and pacquiao for the last 2-3 years, I dont think arum needs to listen to freddie roach to know that pacquiao would have at the very least, a "difficult time" with floyd mayweather.

Pac's career has been carefully managed the last few years to make him seem like something he is not. He has never been considered a serious threat to be competitive in a fight with Mayweather by intelligent fans or sports bettors. Arum and the rest of Pac's people are just keeping him away from a 35 million dollar ass whooping.

it's always difficult to fight a counter puncher unless you have a big size advantage where you can impose your physical attributes. looked what happened to a good counter puncher in jmm when fought floyd.
