Mainstream fans opinion of Pac - Mayweather saga

Of course Mayweather/Pac is a better fight thatn Pac/Clottey. No ones doubting that. But thats not really the point. The point is how Floyd/Manny's legacies are affected after these botched negotiations.

I'm not asking Floyd to fight Paul Williams (I'm sick of hearing his name actually, he's not a welter anymore), but I'm definately asking him not to fight Matthew Hatton or Paulie Malignaggi.

Floyd should fight the Mosley/Berto winner in June or September though. Its the best challenge out there at the moment. However, Matthew Hatton has been contacted by Mayweather's camp more than once.

What do I want? Well I want Mayweather to say he wants to fight Mosley/Berto winner. That fight WILL be available to him. Mosley is GBP fighter and Berto is managed by Al Haymon. I want him to say he'll fight Mosley if he wins.

But you and I BOTH know he won't fight Mosley at all. For your sake as a Floyd fan you better hope Berto wins, so Floyd has a chance to save face and fight a real welter.

 

I guess we'll find out Sunday if that kid on youtube, is right or not. Lol, that just sounds crazy.

Team Pac's constant contradictory rantings have you on information overload. The problem is that you don't understand what is happening when you are watching a well oiled machine, Team Mayweather/GBP, work. Mayweather isn't saying ANYTHING because he wants to be sure the fight is off. Until they have an OFFICIAL press release I don't believe anything.

Wow, just wow. The history between Mosely and Mayweather is public damned record. Google it and look at the videos. It is like Arum downloads talking points into you Pac fans brains at night... :-(

PWill is available. Pwill actually made it known he wants to fight Manny even at 145 saying he can still make that weight.

And lastly, don't live on the past, now is more important. You can't fight in WW without facing the top dogs in Moseley, Margo Cotto or Clottey.

 

I don't give a damn if he is available. I want to see him make weight and look good doing it. I don't want to see a shriveled up PW against Manny or Mayweather. It would be disrespectful to all fighters involved.

under what circumstances did their legacy take a hit? show proof or article (not just pictures) that they were asked to return winnings or trophys because of cheating.

I am sure Lance Armstrong is still widely revered sports icon in US. He just competed in the last Tour de France, didn't he? He was never ostracized unlike Jones.

 

All of my friends who know I follow boxing adamantly ask me why Mayweather is scared of the smaller Pacquiao.
