Elbow was an instant karma moment, Glowacki took time to make that decision and punch Mairis in the back of the head, got chinned for it, then decided to play possum. Lost quite a bit of respect towards him for this short little sequence of events. The judge... well. He had no control there at all, couldn’t even stop a round on time. Only thing he did right was when he took a point from Mairis and told Glowacki to get up and fight.

For Glowacki it was big fiasco. If Briedis was from U.S forums had been filled with support for Briedis, guys bringed up all Glowacki fights where he did clean boxing and insults and arguments how dirty is the boxer falled on Glowacki.
+ WBO belt is just another belt. If he was under contract with WBSS, almost 100% sure that he had duty to fight vs Dorticos in next fight. To hurt Dorticos and his plans too doesn't looks good thing, therefore vs Dorticos should be done as next fight. I can imagine what appeared in media if Briedis did next fight with someone else not with Dorticos. Again he had been considered as bad guy etc. Dorticos disstatisfied, his team too etc.

Breidis is definitely underrated totally bossed the first five rounds against usky. Shows an amazing gift for swapping from punching on the counter to setting his feet up and digging on to land heavy offence. Mixes his high low combination's Very skillful fighter made usky look easy to hit early on not many can claim that. Landed so many straight down the middle jabs on usyk's whiskers straight through his guard. If usyk wasn't half terminator then would of been a different story, against anyone that wasn't granite chinned. As for the Glowacki elbow argument.. na not for me Glowacki clearly knew actually what he was doing with the downwards back of the head punch. Made a drama out of the retaliation and then got taken apart. Clearly wasn't that buzzed when he got back up, just got out classed next round.
