Breidis looked good. Give him a couple more solid fights and he could be ready for major bout in the division.

Charr is off to the Heavyweight Boneyard. Getting filled up quickly last two months, Price, Arreola, Charr.

Just saw that KO, nice highlight material for a CW to knock out a HW fringe contender like that.

That just shows CW is a deeper division with better talent pool than HW. All it missing is a superstar champion. But obviously everyone who's good enough to unify just move up to chase money :conf

One lucky KO punch on a fringe contender and CW is a deep division filled with talent.

Why don't you try watching the Cruiserweight division a little more closely and then you wouldn't look like an ass when you speak of things you clearly have no awareness of.

Did you even bother to watch the entire fight let alone the other prospects at CW?

You ain't been following Cruiserweight, have ya? It might lack a star player (more specifically one from the US) but there's a stack of talent and a myriad of really competitive bouts to be made.

Give it a try ... you might like it!:thumbsup

    Small, small, small, small.

    Too damn small.

He's got heart and guts and power and possibly a solid chin, but he's really a cruiserweight.

And not in the "i have to dehydrate 20 lbs to make weight like Haye" sense of the term.

An uppercut-left hook to the temple combo couldn't possibly be more different than the single right hammer ****quez delivered.

Also Roidquez was as big if not bigger than his opponent; Breidis was around 34 libs lighter than his opponent

What else is different? Breidis was winning the fight, didn't need a ko

So yeah, possibly the only thing in common is the ring corner :think

Please dont include Charr and Price in the same sentence as Arreola.

While Arreola is undefeated in his last 2 fights. Both Charr and Price fought solid top 20ish guys and were beat.

Arreola scoured the Knights of Columbus Halls to find his last opponents.

If Charr and Price were to fight Arreola, they'd bang him outta there in a rd.
Hell, Arrich and Pala would do the job as well as Ding and Gavern. :-(

Ironically, people who pine for classic heavyweight action can forget they were really just watching Cruiserweights with a different label most of the time. It cracks me up when I see people talk about how terrible Heavyweight is and how great it was in the old days while ignoring Cruiser.

Cruiser has also been draining alot of depth from the Heavyweight division because they tend to have a more entertaining fight style
Top ones usually fight at least at a contender level at Heavy.

Picture any era from the 70's and prior with the 200, 205 lb talent sequestered from the unlimited class, and heavyweight really looks dreadful.
