He scored a great win last night against a very good and tough opponent.
I would like to see the match against Drozd. Briedis could even win the title, it's a 50/50 match in my view.

 

I have been watching briedis for the last few years since I saw him on biggers better on EURO sport. He is making a real impact at HW and cruiser. Seeing him whacking some of the big lumps about at HW will be great .He is a great prospect and a future star IMO lots of big nights ahead for this bloke I think.

Nice showcase for Briedis. He will maul Bellew when he gets his shot.

 

Another good power display from Briedis. But he starts slow and is not very hard to hit clean. Wouldn't shock me if Drozd took him to school.

 

Not a bad win, but skill-wise I was not totally impressed. Not that difficult to hit and it seemed he is somewhat vulnerable to jabs and straight left counters. Of course, it could be just me thinking this. Based on that performance:
1. Usyk will pick him apart and win by UD, 75-25
2. Lebedev will punish his rush attacks and beat him in a close fight, 65-35
3. Glowacki - this one will be a brawl, but the Pole has been in with better opponents. 55-45
4. Gassiev - of Briedis was to box, he'd be my favourite, but his aggressive stance could play a bad joke against him, as Gassiev punches like a mule. Tough to call, but say 50-50
5. Drozd, from the fight against Wlod, would beat him handily and for me would e 70-30, but I am not sure what will happen when/if Drozd comes back.

 

Really really quality fighter, big big puncher.. solid skills, young, tough. He has everything really. One of the best prospects in all of boxing. I think he's the best Cruiserweight after Usyk.

 

Briedis-Huck is a great fight. The general boxing fans will know Briedis is for real after this fight and we will get a champion who's willing to face anyone anywhere.

I suspect Huck will be the new Tony Thompson of cw division.

 

Huck has had a great career though, think he might retire soon if he loses

 

Presser, the Eubanks probably think it's a unification because Huck has the coveted IBO belt
