    I don't even know who it is. This is very disappointing because these guys all basically fight once a year. So this this will probaaly be it until he is 39.

    He broke Opetaia's jaw and did well enough that a sizable minority thought he won. Why no rematch?

    There was talk of a heavyweight invasion and a Chisora match. What happened there?

    Three other cruiser champs? No takers?

    Hell, Tyson Fury is looking for an opponent, and might be attracted to a 38 year old cruiserweight.

    Why a 12-2 guy who has never beaten an opponent with a positive record?

    I think its a built up fight for something what is coming. Maybe against Floyd Masson

    In general Briedis doesn't care about boxing anymore, he is more interested politics right now

    We can't know for sure, maybe Briedis feels he's at the end of his best and there is no point in taking high risks, considering he lost to the man whose jaw he broke. I respect that - the fighters must know when to stop. But it is weird indeed that the man who gave Uysk a draw (because Mairis didn't lose that fight) is facing someone with 0% KOs. Probably he is searching for a retirement fight, but for sure he can take someone better. I doubt there isn't any that would agree.
