Was lucky enough to tune in just as the fight's starting.

 

Mann shaded the first round there on a few clean power shots. Briedis seemingly downloading some information, landed a nice uppercut at the end of the round.
Mann 10-9 close.

 

Mann throwing plenty of volume, Briedis covering up and trying to time counters. Briedis actually finding more success leading with the jab and throwing to the body. Massive right hand catches Mann on the temple at the end of the round, he goes down.
Briedis 10-8.

 

Briedis very much comfortable in there. Mann moving around frantically as he seems to still be wary of the power he's tasted in the previous round while letting Briedis pin him on the ropes and rip combos around his guard. Mann regains a bit of confidence for surviving the early stages and tries his own 1-2 combos but Briedis re-establishes his dominance with a savage combination to the head and body. Mann goes down again and gets up unsteadily. Brieidis going mad on the prowl for an emphatic stoppage and rocks Mann with another clean overhand right to the temple. He pins Mann to the ropes and batters his body into submission. Ref seems to wave it off then continues the count lol, Mann decides to stay down after an attempt to get up has him clutching at his body in pain, his gameness truly departed him. Waved off for a TKO3 win.

 

Fox Australia and, ahem, I'm not Australian so you can guess how I'm watching this *not so subtle wink*.

 

Mairis getting cheers and laughs from the crowd, truly a hero of his people. Whatever he's saying in Latvian, he comes across as charismatic from the responses.
