KD. He only has seven kayos in thirty matches, but Kozaev does have a powerful frame and throws forcefully. Sort of like Firat Arslan. Not one-punch KO power but underestimate or trade freely with him at your peril.

    Kozaev's defense is awful, though.

    Very poor man's welterweight Arslan.

Gviniashvili is just spraying leather everywhere haphazardly and hoping something will stick. Kozaev is tanking in and letting way too many shots land and bounce off his skull as he slams in heavier blows, missing nearly as much as Gviniashvili is.

Kazaev's defense is worse than Kudryashov's!
    Taking massive shots.

You hit it on the nail! Far less fun to watch than the previous two fights.

Kozaev was shut out with ease by Taras Shelestyk, more or less ending any speculation as to him being a player in the division. Grinding it out with Georgian cab drivers is basically his only viable career plan unless he wants to become a gatekeeper himself.

Kozaev might actually be getting out-landed...

Koz wasting a lot of time and energy on the inside wrestling and smashing his forearms into Gviniashvili's chest. These rounds are close enough already; if he gasses and Gviniashvili's tank holds up he might be in danger of letting this one slip away.

I don't know, I'm actually enjoying this fight a lot. I missed the previous two though.

I mean, it has been all-action every moment since the first bell, which is par for the course for The Lion. I can see why he does have a following, based on his style. This is just so much less skillful and sloppier than what the first two bouts televised had to offer.
