Briedis was more versatile, had more ways of setting up punches and was less predictable with his boxing, feinted more, used the jab better, could throw lead rights, feel like he wins on points or late stoppage. Who wins this matchup?
Bredis. It's hard to say because we don't know how good Bredis's chin would hold up vs a heavyweight hitter. BUT the best way to defeat Ruddock is with a straight right and Bredis had a terrific straight right. In fact, he landed more straight rights (from memory) on Usyk than either Joshua or Fury did. I think Bredis catches him with a big right early and stops him mid way through. A Ruddock ko wouldn't shock me though.
