This would be a great first fight for Briedis at HW and a big step-up in competition and class for Romanov. Both are 6'0 so they are physically similar aside from maybe weight, and I do not know what their bodyweights are. Who would win?
If you mean this: https://boxrec.com/en/proboxer/768670 and Briedis in shape like he was vs Dorticos ( not best for sure ) then Briedis via stoppage. Maybe he will improve further but till this day his opponents level was....
Breidis is operating at the elite level at CW. Romanov has operated at the Dave Allen level at professional HW. It is pretty obvious who wins this one to be honest. Briedis. Although given Breidis' age and height, I dont see the point in him fighting at HW. He might as well stay at CW. Edit: Romanov is the fighter who knocked out Deontay Wilder in the Amateurs....I see he stopped boxing altogether for 6 years after finishing as an amateur and before becoming a pro. Not sure what the story is there...
Well, he is enough fast if compare HW dudes and hits harder than Usyk, also clinches better. Ofc he was slower than prime Usyk in WBSS, still if compare with others he was fast boxer. CW: who needs to pay him a lot of money? From small country, dangerous. Was he from U.K or U.S he might get a lot $ at CW. There are a lot of points why Briedis is more suitable for HW than Usyk. With Briedis in shape like vs Dorticos he had destroyed Chisora in distance for sure. Depends from shape he is. Maybe even better for him might be to retire, maybe not. 30 y.o version of Briedis for sure had destroyed Chisora and Whyte current versions with a glance. Now? I can't tell. He is 36 now. Yes. If this fight had happened in december 2020 th: yes. Briedis via TKO/KO.
