    Disappointing fight.

    It is also disappointing that Glowacki is not in this tournament, I would prefer him to Wlodarczyk against Gassiev.

    MP comes out a little more aggressive, lands a few weak lefts, they hold, decent left lands, uppercut left barely land from MB, another nasty uppercut lands right on the button of Perez, hard nasty right hook from MB, Mike takes it well, two lefts land from MP, they wrestle, they're wallowing all over each other, MB gets in a few sneaky hooks to the body while in hold.

    Perez landed some really good counters in the 11th. Though Briedis is controlling the fight, those few clean punches might have taken the round for Perez! I'll give it to him, making it close, 6-5 Briedis.

    As has already been mentioned, Perez could've done with taking one or two fights at Cruiserweight before the tournament began -- while giving himself time to safely cut all that excess weight -- in order to allow his body time to adjust to fighting at 200lbs.
