They both looked like ass, only Brieidis a slightly more attractive ass.

Glowworm was off TV, but the KO from twitter was posted somewhere about 10 pages ago.

IDK, I expected Briedis to be more in control and be able to adjust/have at least some answers for Perez's movement and speed. I thought he has a chance of winning the tourney, now that got reduced to a hope. And still... go Briedis! (yeap, officially a fanboy :D)

Judges treated Perez quite fair. If that were a Las Vegas fight and Breidis was an American A side diva, Perez would have gotten 1-2 rounds.

Briedis was cautious, as I said early the southpaw style did throw him off, and while adjusting he didn't want to walk into anything. He mostly wasn't moving like he usually does, it's his foot speed that's his great asset. He shouldn't have been standing still jabbing with Perez.

But I was more disappointed in Perez. Like he said in the interview, he often 'froze', but I put that on him tonight, not his inactivity or even inexperience at cruiser. He should've and could've focused and taken advantage of his opportunities more. He didn't get outclassed, and simply could've won this fight tonight.

Yeah, it was a terrible plan. Move, move, RH/uppercut, clinch. Rinse. Repeat.

It's not usual for a Briedis fight. Disappointing, of course, but I do suggest that more fights might show more than just his clinching.

Really ugly fight, the ref lost control. Perez also could have been disqualified, he repeatedly kept punching well after the ref said stop.

Some people on here complaining about the hometown advantage, yet totally silent when discussing Ward's or Canelo's hometown bias. People these days.

Perhaps he will claim he was drunk before this fight like he did with Povetkin?

Briedis was just a bit too sharp for him and landed 1st and then spoiled before Perez could get off any 2nd phase action.

It was boring as hell, but it was a pretty easy win for Briedis. I think he neutralised Perez with his clinching and Perez didn't have the hand speed or length to compete.

The tactics used today by Briedis will be ineffective against a guy like Usyk who is so much bigger. Hopefully it makes Briedis let his hands go more.

Perez proved tonight he had fitness and can take a punch, not many beat him at 200lbs imo

Adalaide Byrd would have scored it 119-107.

The way you gave him every close round I though you would be claiming robbery.
