Briedis is sticking jabs on the body and hopping outside. Abdoul moves each glove around, separately intercepting Briedis' individual punches. Counter right by Abdoul. Jabs on the body by Briedis.

Round 6

Briedis is standing off, jabbing and crossing at the moving target. Abdoul is on the outskirts, creeping into range and then out again, gloves plastered to his face. Abdoul is dipping side to side as Briedis jabs at him, coming forward and looking to flick a couple of his own jabs up into Briedis' chest. Briedis is circling right with his arms down now, taking a break. Briedis moves left to stay off the ropes and pumps a 1-2 at Abdoul. Briedis is jabbing and hurling a right hand up top from outside. Abdoul ducks. Briedis jogs in place, steps back and fires a long jab. Briedis throws a left hook lead into the side of Abdoul's tight guard and then penetrates it with a straight right hand. Briedis raises his left arm, jabbing twice in quick succession up at the top of Abdoul's head.

Round 7

Briedis is moving in either direction, jabbing high and then jerking back. Abdoul is ducking and countering with lefts and rights rising up over his shoulder before shooting out in a rainbow arc. Briedis lands a right hand simultaneously with an Abdoul jab, both dipped over slightly in opposing directions.

Round 8

Briedis is taking rocking-chair steps laterally ether way, jabbing a few times each into the head and body of Abdoul while moving. Briedis is keeping just outside striking range, leaning in with his jabs. Abdoul is dipping to either side as he walks forward, leaving plenty of space and keeping his left foot several inches out from Briedis'. Two good jabs by Abdoul reaching in past Briedis'. Body jab by Briedis. Double jab up top by Briedis, blocked, but setting up a flush right hand on the nose as Abdoul ducked and broke formation thinking Briedis was done punching. Light jabs from the hip by Briedis on the outside. Both tired.

Round 9

Briedis is doubling his jab into Abdoul's brow and faking him with extra undelivered jabs to land the right hand on the body, getting Abdoul to lift his arms, creating an opening. Briedis is jerking his head back when Abdoul tries reaching out with a sneaky quick jab while simultaneously leaning away but stepping in. Briedis doubles a jab into the guard and Abdoul sashays to his left, countering with a slapping left hook. Briedis catches it on the back of his right glove. Briedis throws a right hand into the guard and follows with a short left hook, ducked. Briedis is jabbing at the chin of Abdoul while circling left, altering the plane of the jab by a few degrees with each one, some hitting leather but some nicking the chin. Slapping flurry by Briedis stepping in. Abdoul jabs and ducks a 1-2. Double jab by Briedis, setting up a right on the body. Abdoul jumps away from it, barely touched.

Round 10

Briedis is aiming high with the jab and curling a right hand in on Abdoul's temple as he sits back. Double left hook on the body by Briedis, circumventing the lower part of Abdoul's guard. Abdoul is walking forward, unfolding his arms to jab or reach up and grab onto Briedis. Abdoul is dipping to either side and flinching straight back when Briedis jabs, or letting either fist roam independently to catch the jab and bump it away. Abdoul scores a jab. Briedis hammers through with a 1-2.
