Briedis quadruples a jab and steps to his right. 1-2 by Briedis. Abdoul is advancing with his jab pushed out from his chin. Tight defense by Abdoul as Briedis opens up with a flurry coming in. Briedis goes back to the outside, throwing long jabs at the head. Abdoul is caught with an uppercut bowing forward blocking jabs with his fave covered and sight obscured. Briedis is backhanding light jabs into the guard and following through with his right. Briedis is nudging into Abdoul with his left glove after extending the jab straight out. Briedis is boxing with his arms down, mouth open. Jabs and uppercuts on the outside by Briedis. Abdoul widens his distance and leans back for an extra safety measure.

Round 12

Briedis is jabbing and softly lobbing in a straight right every 2-3 jabs, never closing the distance with his feet. Abdoul is catching everything on his forearms, ducking and rolling slightly in place, moving only when Briedis does. Lead rights by Briedis, picked off. Counter jab on the ear by Abdoul as Briedis lazily hangs in close after a blocked right. Jabs into the guard by Briedis, drawing his glove up the well and throwing from chest-high. Briedis is putting uppercuts in behind the jab now. Abdoul is swaying back from them. Counter left hook by Abdoul jumping in. Briedis circles to his right, then left, then back, then forward - square-dancing into Abdoul in roundabout fashion, confusing him a bit. 1-2 by Briedis. Abdoul sits back on the ropes and beckons him on. Twenty seconds left. Briedis lobs a few more soft rights in. Abdoul blocks. 1-2 by Briedis. They jab together, Abdoul landing.
