Still one of the worst decisions, and examples of corruptions ever. Jeff Horn had been working out with John Wayne Parr and local Greco Roman wrestlers by the look of things!

 

Same. I was keeping a rough score in my head. Had it 6 rounds even. May rewatch it later. I honestly prefer to just enjoy a fight as a spectator live and then watch it as a judge in additional viewings.

 

I agree, Briedis can take this in a rematch. He needs to wake up earlier and improve his second-third shot accuracy. For an oldish guy his tank is great, speed is alright, he simply wasn’t active and accurate enough when it mattered.

 

I was at that fight in Suncorp Pacfool vs Horn. I actually had HORN winning LIVE. You had to factor in the crowds and the flopping Pac was doing in the ring. But yeah, watching the replay it was a different perspective but when I saw it Live it appeared Horn was winning.

 

Yeah, and fighting in hostile territory you can't do that, even if he did enough to win(I didn't see the whole fight) it wasn't enough to win in Queensland.

I picked Briedis to blow this guy out. Maybe you can find your way to a draw but I can't see this as a robbery.

That is the one thing that was wrong. The ref was playing prevent defense, trying to run the clock out on Briedis. The only thing I can say in his favor is his pace was consistent.

 

Another robbery for a guy from a small country.

 

Rematch is far more interesting than any of those fights. Should happen given the close nature of the fight/long reign of Briedis.

 

Good personality we are seeing from Briedis in the post-fight interviews. Class guy.
