Mairis Briedis vs Sultan Ibrigamov, David Tua, Moses Itauma

I think Breidis is too good for Sultan. Breidis by decision.

vs Tua is interesting. Breidis does have a great chin but it wasn't tested vs a truly hard hitting heavy. I know Usyk and especially Opetaia can hit but Tua's left hook was something else.

I will take the Tua of the Ibeabuchi fight to outwork Breidis. I think Breidis would be forced to be very defensive vs the monster hitting Tua, and if David is in shape, he should be able to outwork him for a decision. Probably.

Itauma? Too earlu to tell. On paper, Itauma should have too much size, speed and power. But his chin is totally untested. No idea.

Breidis is a tough one to rate. He put up a great fight vs Usyk and Opetaia but who did he actually beat? Charr? The past it versions of Huck and Glowacki? I really like Breidis but his wins are paper thin. Its very hard to rank him.

I have seen people on this forum pick him over Foreman h2h and i find that totally absurd.

 

I’d have peak Briedis overall, but Itauma could prove to be the goods.

I can’t pick Itauma to beat someone on the calibre of Briedis right now, because that would be unfair to Briedis’ resume and accomplishments with how unproven Itauma is.

 

He’d probably beat Tua and take Ibragimov down to the wire. Itauma would beat him up though.
