Mairis Briedis vs Yunier Dorticos is set for September 26th

Breidis is cute though, he’ll sting Dorticos under pressure an take him out imo

 

Dorticos has an excellent chin. He's gone tooth and nail two of the hardest hitting cruiserweights ever and hasn't shown any real chin deficiencies. If anyone's getting stopped, it ain't him. Briedis hasn't shown a real problem with his chin either, or if he has, I haven't seen it. But he's clearly the better operator, and I think his advantages in speed, footwork, fundamentals and combination punching wins this one on points. Although Briedis is an awesome finisher and heavy handed, so I don't completely rule out a stoppage. I just don't think it's particularly likely from either side.

This is probably my favourite fight in boxing right now. I think Briedis wins, but Dorticos always has a Puncher's chance, and these are two of the best champs in boxing.

 

Long awaited. Hopfully it comes off. Should be a classic.
