A lot of things a happening at superfly, jr. bantam or whatever you want to call it. And it's all very exciting.

A lot of people are still recognizing Martin Castillo as the best at 115 yet Montiel, who barely ranks 3rd, easily smashed him. Who would've think that way especially with Montiel looking a lot vulnerable in recent times.

By the way, Mijares won. Period. But don't call him the best of the bunch yet. He still has to prove himself against Montiel. He beat Navarro, sure. Everyone knows Navarro is a guy who will never get over that hump called "championship". Kawashima, Tokuyama, and Kirilov.

Don't count out Castillo either. He still had the skills to come back. Hopefully...

Kirilov is probably a hidden gem. He's not as impressive as the guys above him, but he's tough, strong, and he has skills.(Although not as much as the aforementioned trio) The knack on him is that his level of opposition still left something to be desired.

Don't forget Arce and Alexander Munoz. These guys pack enough firepower to turn the fight around with one shot.

Lastly, the dark horses. Z Gorres and Vic Darchinyan. Regardless of who you have winning (I had Vic winning), these guys are sure threats to those atop the division. Why? Because Gorres already fought Montiel and a lot of accounts says Gorres was ripped off on the cards(Ditto). And since Darchinyan fought on even, if not better, terms over Gorres, this speaks well for the former flyweight champ.

Oh, much more lastly, Nonito Donaire has expressed desire to move up after the Hussein defense as fellow champs at 112 are unwilling to unify.

It seems that a lot of possible action packed fights can be made at 115. Great times are looking ahead.

actually gorres didnt win against montiel, he lost clearly. From what I hear Navarro was the one that was robbed in a title fight. If anythings, its gorres who cant get over the hump and I would suggest he fight Navarro to stay in the picture. Why is Donaire fighting Arce leftovers? He should be fighting Mijares next for the right to fight Montiel for the the ring/lineal title.:yep

Gorres did. And he was indeed robbed both by judges and referee. Navarro was robbed once, against Kawashima, and he lost to Tokuyama, Kirilov , and Mijares convincingly. Why would Gorres settle for a back-to-back loser when he still has unfinished business with Vic Darchinyan? Because no one at 112 would fight him and he has no one left. He will just wait for him to take Hussein out of the way.

Only one judge was incompetent, which was the one that had it for gorres. How did the ref rob gorres?:huh

Navarro has only lost close contests in world title fights so I think he is a quality opponent for gorres which is a match that I see as a toss up.

Nope, it's those two that gave it to Montiel. Because he deducted points for excessive holding even if he hadn't issued a warning first. A lot of fighters clinch as a defensive manouver. Why deduct Gorres immediately.

I agree, but Gorres is still probably lobbying to a Darchinyan rematch. We should just see what happens.
