    Observations on tonight's fight. 1. Andre Ward showed he is a terrific fighter by coming back to be competitive after a very rocky first 4 rounds. 2. I picked Ward to win this fight and I was wrong. He lost, even tho the judges say otherwise. 3. two of the judges had the first 4 rounds for Kovalev then scored only one more round for Sergey. Absurd to say he only won 1 of last 8 rounds. 4. The knockdown should have been the difference in this fight. IMO The BEST u can do for... Andre is make it 6-6 in rounds That would be 114-113 for Kovalev. I could see giving Andre one of 1st 4 rds, but even then he would have to win 6 of last 8 to win decision.I just don't see that. Kellerman said this was not a bad decision just a controversial one. I disagree. Because of how hard it is to get to a Ward win with that knockdown and quick start for Kovalev, I would call this is a bad decision. 5. The fight itself was well fought and very interesting. Not a fight of yr. candidate but a very, very good fight.

    Obviously we know Harold Lederman and Roy Jones Jr. had Kovalev winning. Abel Sanchez, Robert Garcia, Vasyl Lomachenko had Kovalev winning.

    I look at the media cards. The observer cards. If 2/3 of the ringside observers and media think the winner lost the fight then that's a pretty good indicator of a robbery.

    half of those guys are idiots.... and the other half must be ****ing blind.

    the last guy there.... says he scored it a draw and then complains about Vegas judges scoring it 114-113 .....what does that tell you about these people.

    Another thing you have to factor in.... most of these guys tweeting watched it on the HBO broadcast. which was biased as **** with mad ledderman

    I was following the fight through round by round updates. USA Today, Bad Left Hook, Bloody Elbow, and Sherdog had Kovalev winning from what I saw.

    This is why I'm happy I watched the fight without HBO'S commentary. I had no commentary(that I understood). I judged the fight on what I saw. I'm sure Lampley was yelling at the top of his lungs on every right hand Kovalev threw even when he wasn't landing. He probably lost his voice during the knockdown. HBO is a joke. This is why Bernstein and Showtime fights are more watchable.

    fights are not scored by people pressing buttons at the same time.... fights are scored on other criteria. Landing effective punches is one of them.... not compubox where people press buttons at the same time.

    When I look at this fight, after round 4....all i see is the Ward bossing the fight in the sense...he's fighting how he wants.... not how kovalev wants. And to be honest Kovalev didn't know what to do in the end? cheeky too....saying he would kick his ass in a rematch....why didn't he do it this time?

    in a rematch boxer/grappler ward....wins even more easily

    Of course. This was not a hard fight to score. It wasn't.

    Fischer's score, by the way, was 117-110 Kovalev.

    HBO's Harold Lederman had it 116-111 Kovalev.

    read my post above. I didn't watch hbo's commentary. Lampley creams his pants every time something lands. It could be a jab and he's saying, "BIG LEFT HAND!!!!"

    Who in the hell besides the judges had Ward winning?

    All Is see is Ward fans going oh it could of gone either way. No, it wasnt even close.

    I dont know how you win a fight by getting rocked, dropped, out-landed, and spend most of the fight running and holding?
