Makabu: I will KO Canelo.

He recently beat two of the Ring's Top 10 Cruiserweights both of whom were undefeated. #7 Aleksei Papin and #8 Michal Cieslak.

 

Doesn't have to be a favorite! I iust want to hear about the 10-15 others who do it better (since he's so bad, there must be a lot of them!). I can name people I don't like who are better than the average beltholder.

My understanding was the change happens next year, but that was just something someone said offhand in a video posted here.

 

@Smokin Bert He also KO'd the Ring #4 Ranked Cruiserweight Thabiso Mchunu back in 2015. So he has 3 wins over current Top 10 Ring ranked Cruiserweights.

The WBC has Mchunu, Papin, and Cieslak ranked #1, #2 and #3. So he's already beaten the #1, #2 and #3 contenders for his title. He's clearly proven himself. Cieslak is the #2 ranked IBF contender (with the #1 spot vacant) and he's the #3 ranked in the WBO. Mchunu is ranked #2 by the WBO behind Gassiev. Papin is ranked #5 by both the IBF and the WBO.

I don’t care if it’s 190 or 200, Canelo will be dwarfed and it will be a hell of an accomplishment. Haters are gonna no matter what, 190 weigh in, 200 fight night, is massive for a dude like Canelo.

 

I wish everyone was focused on the super flyweight division lol.

There's not a single undefeated fighter on Boxrec Super Fly Top 25, because they've all been tearing it up with each other for years.

Let's just let those guys eat and fight each other at 200lbs and call the winner the HW champ.
