    I would agree.

It isnt just the "Greatest technical and winningest boxers hall of fame".

All fighters who had a considerable contribution to the history of the sport, to helping spread and popularize the sport and for the entertainment of the fans should be included there.

"Pure fighters" like Gatti should be included, I feel, however poorly they may have fared against elite boxers.

Boxing is also an entertainment business, and guys like gatti sure have entertained and inspired countless boxing fans, and converted casual fans to become more into the sport.

All the people saying Hatton beat guys at the end of their career, can you not throw that back at FMJ or Pac? Not sayin i agree, just think its the oldest way to try to tarnish a guys achievements.

Sure, if we're talking about the Jabroni Club/Pub Jobber HOF.

Ricky Hatton's a likeable guy & exciting to watch, but he's never been a true elite. Seriously, don't bother mentioning the over-the-hill, 2 years of ring rust-having Tszyu.

You could stuff him and have him on the floor in front of the fire, like a sort of Mancunian Chav rug. He always looked his most fetching whilst horizontal.

He was unbeaten at 140lbs until he was KOed by an ATG. His first loss was also against an ATG at a weight class above his fighting weight. Plus an added bonus that he is a cash cow.

It's not hard to make a case for Hatton really, wins over two bona-fide legends in Kostya Tsyzu and Castillo, only losses were to arguable the finest two boxers of our generation, undisputed 140lbs for 4 years and 147lbs titlist on two occasions. There are plenty of people in the hall of fame with weaker resume's than his, and that's not even considering the huge popularity and support he recieves.

if and its a big if,hatton comes back beats say jmm and then beats a top class welter for a belt he may get it in,but HOF really needs to be fighters like ali leonard, hearns durran hagler RJJ,pbf pacman and fighters like that who were and are head and shoulders above world class fighter, imo BHOP doesnt deserve HOF status yet either
