Fantastic post, not really much to add to that.

Prime! You Lewis nuthugger! How can somebody with your vast intelligence possibly rate Lummox, oops - I mean Lennox, as highly as you do? You should be ashamed of yourself. You know better than that!

Now, having hopefully restored you back to your usual good senses, how do ya think he'd do against Big John Tate? (Personally, I think they hit each other with simultaneous right hands, and both get carried out.)

I like Lewis, and I rate him pretty high, but the fact, that he was KO´d twice (one time when he was prime, the other time when he was still near his best, like he showed us in the rematch) can´t be forgotten, I know, he beat both in rematches spectacular, but that doesn´t change the fact. You can´t make an argument for him being the best HW ever...

Head to head, I would put my money on him over anybody.

    Legacy-wise, top-5.

Fantastic post, I rate Lewis solidly in the Top 6 of All-Time (He'd rate #4 on my list) although a convincing case could be made for rating him Third at best, bottom reaches of the Top 10 at worst- though that doesn't do his career achievments justice. Top 2 is definitely a tad too high.

Louis and Ali are legacy-wise are both a lock on for the Top two places, Lewis would be in the next pack along with Holmes, Marciano, Frazier and Tyson etc.
