opinions mate,we all av em,same as i don;t know why you think lee would **** it. you know the am and pro game are completly differant don't you,you can not just go off that, lee beat barker in the ams,so thats it,lee will beat the **** outa barker, end of,it don't and never will work like that:thumbsup
Either way it's definitely a fight both fighters feel they can win and both sets of fans feel their fighter will win. Throw into the mix the 'previous' they've had as amateur's and club mates and the Ireland v England angle and it's a great fight that needs to be made now for the European title. There'll be no difficulty selling this fight in Ireland or the UK and with Lee established Stateside and Barker's stock having risen after his bout with Martinez it can also be flogged in the States. Great fight and career high pay days for both fighters. Need I say any more..
Well Lee beating Barker in the ams isn't my entire basis for the reason I think he'll win, just one of them. And I never said Lee would **** it. I think it would be pretty close but Lee's power would prove too much. And fair enough, we're all entitled to our opinions. :good
DiBella in an interview ranked Martinez (No1), Macklin (No 2) and Lee (No 3) as the top three middleweights in the World. No surprise there since he promotes all three. After saying this it's more likely to have Martinez fighting Macklin. Obvious date would be Paddy's day in MSG as Slap suggested. Lee/Vera was an unoffical eliminator, so I wonder could they tempt JCCJ in for a title fight with Lee on the undercard.:huh
