I like David but IMO he's being led to slaughter here. I just don't think he's ready for GGG.

It's the total package. Im paying for an exciting main event and an excellent undercard, anchored by two P4P talents, who are also two of the best offensive fighters today. It's some of the most fan-friendly matchmaking I've seen, it's only a shame they couldn't land Jennings on the undercard vs Ortiz, too.

My friends will show up, enjoy some beers, and a night of fights that won't put us to sleep. What's not to like?

He's also going to look quite a bit smaller in the ring against GGG. Lemiuex almost looked like a midget against Rosado. Well see soon enough I guess. But there's no way David would ever be able to compete at 168 if he were to try.

This is something I mentioned a few months back (although at that time, I was thinking/hoping the Yankees would be in the midst of a playoff run).

I'm just outside of NYC, and while most of my friends are Yankees fans, a good number of them are Mets fans, and the area seems overcome with Mets fever.

I have to imagine that there are some big time baseball fans who occasionally watch some boxing and buy the bigger PPV cards. But unless the game turns into an early blow-out, I can't imagine too many die hard Mets fans doing both.

And given the Cubs have such a putrid history of success, them being one step away from the World Series must be sparking some interest in Chitown, I'd guess.

Then again, millions of people are expected to be tuning in for the baseball game, and HBO seems to be gunning for 100,000. So it may not play much of a factor.

    I don't know.

I usually allow myself 2-3 PPV's a year. So far this year I bought Floyd vs Mayweather. And yes I bought Floyd vs Berto! :D I'll buy this one also I guess. Am going to the Canelo vs Cotto fight so that wont count.

Pacquiao is my favorite fighter and I didn't even buy the may-pac fight.

Money doesn't grow on trees. If I'm gonna buy a PPV it better be with guys in their primes and p4p level fighters. And Lemieux isn't cutting it.

Lol at all the salty GGG haters/friendless weirdos

This fight is picking up massive steam, everyone's talking about it. Miss match or not, get some buddies over and watch GGG put another fool to sleep

Yeah why should anyone shell out hard earned cash when the PPV headliner is an overwhelming prohibitive favorite.
Y'know because Guerrero, Ortiz, Maidana, Berto were all such legit threats to Floyd's 0.:rofl

I can promise you, ALL of the casuals here in Chicago are going to be watching the Cubbies make history. Sorry but Bumlovkin is going to be SOL in Chi-town this Saturday.
