Now that peterson doesn't want khan, amir has basically 5 choices.

    Marquez, prescott, murray, brook, mcloskey.

I would love to see him fight juan, but no way is he travelling. The domestic matchups mean very little until they have a victory over a named opponent.

The clear option here is vs prescott. Now I don't think khan has the chin nor the discipline to beat prescott, and a revenge victory would hugely impress me.

    Make the fight amir!

I'm reading a lot of Tweets from Steve Kim and Dan Rafael and they all wants Khan/Prescott II.

    HBO won't buy Khan/McCloskey.

I DO think Khan has the chin and discipline to beat Prescott, but I couldn't agree more with everything else.

Unless it's JMM, if he fights any of those Brits, he is doing nothing for his ranking, popularity, or his legacy.

I want khan prescott but mcloskey is a cocky and slick boxer, I would like to see khan beat paul, but I wouldnt underestimate him either

Prescott hasn't done a damn thing since beating Khan (except lose 2 in a row and beat 3 bums, one by DQ) but yeah...for his own personal redemption, just to silence the remaining critics, Khan should fight Prescott. I'm willing to bet Prescott will be thoroughly, thoroughly out classed this time around.

Hell yeah give us Prescott and Prescott will knock his ass out again. He will throw fast hooks on his ass and go for him from the first round. **** trying to set up anything he will just let his hands go and go for the kill on Khan.

I wouldn't mind seeing a Khan-Prescott rematch. I know both of their careers have gone in different directions since then, and Prescott technically doesn't deserve a title shot at 140 since he's done **** all at this division, but as a voluntary title defense for Khan I'd actually like to see this.

There's the revenge factor, and mental factor. It has to be mentally tough to go in there again with someone who knocked you out in such a fashion. When fighters like Floyd Patterson & Lennox Lewis, for instance, got revenge in this manner, it was admirable and showed their mental resilence.

I was never really interested in peterson to begin with, but I can appreciate how it would enhance his resume. A win over mcloskey won't do that.

People pay prescott has done nothing, but his win over amir easily eclipses any victory of paul's.

Aside from marquez, I say prescott is the toughest available challenge, one that will sell out the m.e.n. One that has history. One that I genuinely don't favour khan to emerge victorious from.

khan isn't going to take a backwards step now that he's done the hard work to put himself on the world stage - and freddy isn't about to gift a fight to any of those guys you mention because of it - except marquez obviously...

Dislike Kahn but he takes Prescott with ease now. Also don't want to see Marquez, he would struggle against kahns size and speed.a domestic fight wouldn't be great for HBO but may actually be a better fight to watch in my opinion...

Prescott doesnt deserve this, Khan should give him the payday.
Eventhough if khan ever wants the fight this is probably the perfect time considering all the circumstances. I prefer a fight with guzman or ortiz if that could ever happen.
Mccloskey is already fighting soon, so i dont think that would happen even if it makes sense because he's top in the division after guzman

Khan has no need to fight Prescott - other than for his own vanity or to shut up haters on internet forums.

Other than seeing if Khan can overcome the mental aspects of beating a man who previously KO'ed him and exorcising those demons i really don't see much point in this fight.

Prescott is a more limited, less relentless and lighter hitting version of Maidana and he has been a big let down since beating Khan.

I would much prefer the Marquez fight.

Even though they have not fought any big names and are unknown in America i would favour Murray's relentless pressure and high gaurd and McCloskey's skills and unorthodox shots to give Khan more problems than Presscot.

Don't get me wrong, i would like to see Khan avenge his loss to Prescott one day as it is a sign of mental toughness and wanting to right past wrongs but Prescott should be an easy victory for Khan and right now is probably not the right time to fight Prescott.

It looks like Khan will fight the winner of Alexander-Bradley later in the year and those two have completely different styles to Maidana and Prescott so it would probably be a good idea to get Khan a fight with a more skilled, thinking type of fighter rather than another crude slugger in preperation for a future fight with Bradley or Alexander. Whilst Marquez and McCloskey don't have the same styles as Bradley and Alexander they are certainly closer in style to them than Prescott.
