Make the Saranggani election happen in Feb so Pacquiao can fight Mayweather.

    Just a humorous idea.

I know Philippines national election is on May 10. But i'm pissed that a SMALL SINGLE DISTRICT (i heard it only got 20k voters or less) is hampering this "HISTORIC" and "ONCE IN A LIFETIME" fight. For some weird reason, this campaign means the world to him, he's ready to give up a billion peso and put his boxing career at a long rest. That congressional election is obviously a thousand folds insignificant compared to the magnitude this fight will bring in sports history.

I bet Pacquiao will loose the election AGAIN if he turns down a first half of 2010 fight with Mayweather (obviously FMJ will find another opponent if pac proposes 2nd half). Other politicians surrounding him, using him for their advantage while giving Pacquiao wrong advices should also loose.

So make the SARANGGANI where Pacquiao will run for congress be earlier than the rest of the election!!!! So Pac could still agree on a May (or first half of 2010) fight if the election will be done and over in Feb.

That is a funny idea. But a better idea is that Pac's opponent (whoever he is) should back out so that Pac is sure to win. He doesn't need to campaign anymore as he is already sure to win. Then he can fight Floyd on May.

March is too early imo as Pac needs to heal his broken eardrum before he can take on sparring partners. A March fight means Pac is already sparring by January and February. I don't think his eardrum is already completely healed by that time.
