There is definitely a difference here
Joshua kept schtum went back sorted whatever it was out, trained, changed up and avenged the defeat
After that, when asked specifically he has said he didn't feel right before the fight and put it right. He hasn't gone on and on - he has simply answered a question
Lets not forget he also said and has repeated the better man won on the night - which was undenaible
    Classy

Contrasted with the repeated bleating and excuse making of Wilder. Not once has he accepted the defeat. He has been crying like a child who had his sweets taken away. Heavy suit. Bicep torn. Zombie. Wasn't me. etc etc
    Embarrassing

And that’s the difference right there, he has never given credit in the face of both losses

Both are true as Pacquiao had had many more excuses as most of us know.

The socks excuse was after I believe the 1st Marquez fight, he said the socks he wore that night caused blisters in his feet.

The glove excuse he used after his loss to Erik Morales, he shouldn't have used it as an excuse imo but there is some validity to it.
In negotiations for the fight one of the stipulations from Erik Morales' team was that of the boxing gloves to be used.
Pacquiao was boxed into agreeing to wear Morales' preferred "Winning" brand of gloves. That particular brand isn't a choice of punchers like Manny Pacquiao who prefer to wear "Cleto Reyes."

Yes, I agree. I'm unsure if its ego protection or trying to get people to tune in though.

If it's for the latter then he's failing miserably. No-one other than him and Dubblechin are buying the costume drained, injured, not real Deontay stopped too early zombie excuses he's been peddling.

The only thing he's talking himself into is getting another hiding. He'd do well to keep quiet and hope Fury takes him lightly.

I believe his complaints were mainly to the Filipino media who were asking questions on what had happened in the fight after having Marquez down 3 times in the 1st round.
…….but yeah, why else would Pacquiao even bring it up if its not to offer it as an excuse for his performance?

Without reading Divac's post. I guarantee it's about Pac.

Exactly. Except for Joshua, he made a lot of them six months later, but those don't count. Something about excuses aren't excuses depending on which month you tell them in, apparently.

Most fighters make excuses after losses ... Saint Joshua was no exception.

People just like to sweep some excuses under the rug and insist other excuses are the absolute worst things any athlete has ever uttered and how could anyone ever possibly ever possibly conceive of ever rooting for someone like that ever again.

WHAT? After the fight, Ali said he thought he (Ali) landed more punches and won more rounds. He blamed the judges for being influenced by the media about his stance on Vietnam. He had no doubt he won. He said the judges were wrong. He wanted judges from China and Germany and referee from England next time because all the press coverage about the draft and the Black Muslims influenced the judges. Because he didn't lose 11 rounds. He knew he won at least nine even before the knockdown came. He said he hit Joe three punches for every single punch Frazier landed.

Never said he did, just that Joshua did in fact make excuses, and not all his excuses were after the second fight.

I don't think I'm going to see eye to eye with you guys here. "I didn't feel right" and "it was a lucky punch from the gods" aren't explanations, they're still passing the blame.

I personally didn't find Joshua classy when he stole the mic from Ruiz in the post fight interview.

I did mention that Wilder's excuses were embarrassing earlier in post #20.

I'm clearly not a fan of Joshua, so I'll leave it here since I seem to be at odds with the rest of the forum and plenty of posters seem to be getting me confused with dubblechin.
